Pregnancy and Running: Effects on Women

Great podcast here by physical therapists that discusses some of the changes that occur in women’s running mechanics during and after pregnancy, and how that may affect their return to running. Some examples of these faulty movements include more low back and pelvic motion, more/excessive low back extension, and loss of midline stability (“core strength”). All of these factors can be helped by a good PT you trust to get you going again!
